Jill Thiel is a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher, Senior Licensed Reiki Teacher, mentor, and Director for the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), as well as the founder of Minnesota Reiki Center and Minnesota Sound Healing. She has been practicing Reiki since 2004 and teaching since 2007, offering Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki and Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®, and Animal Reiki classes, along with professional sound healing training using Crystal Tones® Alchemy Singing Bowls.

She is a board-certified Reiki continuing education provider through the NCTMB, a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Foot Reflexologist, and experienced Sound Healing practitioner. Jill is also a Crystal Tones® Partner and educator, supporting students and clients in developing a deeper relationship with vibrational healing through high-quality instruments and intentional practice.

Jill has dedicated much of her life to spiritual development, meditation, and cultivating compassion. She has studied within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and is a student of Lama Tsering, Chagdud Khadro, Lama Padma of Chagdud Gonpa, and Sakya Trizin. Over the years, she has received several sacred empowerments, including Red Tara, Chenrezig, Phowa, Vajrakilaya, and Medicine Buddha, including teachings connected to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Her background includes working as an educator with the Aveda Institute, where she developed a strong foundation in anatomy, energetics, chakras, aromatherapy, meridians, and Ayurveda—knowledge that continues to inform her integrative teaching style today.

In addition to her teaching and healing work, Jill has a creative background in the arts, having completed an art internship in Florence, Italy and earned her B.A. in Art. Her creativity continues to influence her work through music, photography, and the design of immersive healing experiences.

A Minnesota native, Jill is passionate about animals, travel, nature, and conscious living. Her work reflects a deep commitment to helping others reconnect with themselves through sound, energy, and presence.
