April Walker, MA, is a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher for the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) and a Usui/Holy Fire III and Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master Teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience and 40 years in the wellness field. April brings a rare depth of training, accountability, and credentialed expertise to every student she teaches.

April came to Reiki through her own healing journey, which gives her teaching a quality of lived understanding that no credential alone can provide. Her academic background includes a Master of Arts in Human Development, and she has taught Health Psychology and Child Development at the college level, contributed to hospital wellness programs, and co-authored the Kid Reiki I and II program for the ICRT.

April teaches Reiki as a whole-life practice. Her students, many of them healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers navigating burnout and compassion fatigue, leave her classes with practical tools they can use immediately, both for personal healing and in service to others. Drawing on her background as a natural energy healing intuitive and her expertise in sound healing, pendulum dowsing, crystal work, and other complementary modalities, April offers a learning experience that is layered, grounded, and genuinely transformative.

She also hosts a free monthly online Reiki share open to all.
