A few weeks ago a friend of mine underwent surgery for colon cancer. Right up to the point of the surgery, the doctors were going to perform a procedure that would leave her with a colostomy. The night before the surgery, she gave herself Reiki (being a first degree), and said prayers. On the next day, they were able to try an experimental procedure that made it possible for them to simply excise the tumorous portion of the colon. Needless to say, she is grateful for the help from her Reiki guides!
