This class includes Holy Fire® III Reiki

Come to the amazingly beautiful and pristine Hana coast of Maui and take Reiki I & II. The Hana coast is recognized as one of the few remaining parts of Hawaii that retains the old Hawaiian energy. Sparsely populated and situated along a rugged coast, this is truly one of the most wonderful places in the world. There are no high rises and just one hotel. (But many vacation rentals, see listing below). With a total population of just 1800 along the whole coast - it's not crowded! There's lots of waterfalls, beaches and hiking trails to enjoy. The energy here is very peaceful, but also intensely spiritual. This is truly a very special place.

Take Reiki training and a vacation at the same time!

This beginning training is one of the most thorough and comprehensive available. It includes both Reiki I & II and is a combination of the Western style as introduced by Mrs. Takata and the Japanese style and the Holy Fire Energies. On completion of the class, you will be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others. The following subjects are taught:

  • The origin and history of Reiki
  • The nature of Reiki energy, why people get sick and how Reiki heals
  • The Reiki Ideals
  • The Human Energy System
  • The complete hand placement system
  • Gassho meditation
  • Byosen Scanning: Using the sensitivity in the hands to locate areas needing healing, (usually in the aura) and to treat them
  • Reiji-Ho: Using inner guidance to know how and where to treat
  • Kenyoku: Dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field
  • Gyoshi-ho: Sending Reiki with the eyes
  • How to see Auras and Past Lives
  • Sending Reiki at a distance
  • Reiki II symbols: How to draw, activate and use them. Their many uses are explained and their inner meaning is discussed. Practice time is given so students know from experience how the energy of each symbols feels and the results each symbol produces
  • Placements for I & II

Placements
In this class attunements are called Placements. Placements are done differently than attunements, but have been developed to provide more effective healing energy and to empower the symbols in a more powerful way. The Placements make use of Holy Fire energy which is why they are more effective. However, the standard Usui Reiki II symbols are used in this class.

The class is a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration and practice time. Each student experiences giving and receiving a complete treatment using Byosen scanning and the hand placement system. Practice time is given using all the Reiki II symbols as well as for the techniques mentioned above.

A 192 page class manual and a certificate are included.

Road to Hana
Road to Hana

The road to Hana is one of the most scenic roads in the world. Winding in and out of tropical valleys high above the ocean, with many views overlooking the rugged coast line hundreds of feet below, the experience is breathtaking. The road is very twisty and windy with multiple switchbacks and many 10 mph sections and also includes 56 one lane bridges. Many of the fern lined valleys have waterfalls with some visible from the road and others requiring a short hike. Some have pools below the falls you can swim in. There are also many beautiful beaches. While the road is only 50 miles long, it takes 2 hours to drive if you go straight through. However, those wanting to play under the waterfalls and stop at the parks and scenic areas will want to take 4 hours or even most of the day to get to Hana.

A guide book will be helpful. I suggest Maui Revealed, by Andrew Doughty and Harriett Friedman.

Hana is a very quiet, relaxing and beautiful place.

Food
Hana has two small stores, three restaurants and a bar. While the food at the restaurants is good, it's also a good idea to bring food with you to prepare in your room. Since the selection in Hana is sparse, it's a good idea to shop for food in Kahului or Paia before driving to Hana.

Transportation
Fly into Kahului, Maui, rent a car and drive to Hana, or you can also fly directly into the Hana airport - Pacific Wings - (but you'll miss the great drive, and being able to shop for groceries). Since most flights arrive in the afternoon, it's advisable to stay in the Kahului area over night the day you arrive, then drive to Hana the next day, although some students do drive to Hana the day they arrive.

Texas Students and others.
Delta Airlines flies non-stop from Houston and other airports into Kahului, Maui and  American flies non-stop from Dallas airport.

Entertainment
Hana is a very small and quiet place. There is only one quiet bar in the Hana Hotel that features Hawaiian music, no movie theaters, nothing else open at night.

In the process of learning to be a healer, we'll be practicing on each other and receive healing as well. This is a wonderful class for the beginner and is also valuable for those who have already taken Reiki training. We're going to have a great time and I look forward to seeing you in class.

Love and blessings,

Testimonials

Students share about their Maui Reiki experience
This was an invaluable class for my personal development and for my growth as a healer. Concepts and techniques presented proved themselves in practice during the class. Much healing happened for me personally. I went deeper into meditation than ever before and learned to trust the process. William’s unique style of Reiki resonates with what was always in my heart. I am very blessed to have found my way to this workshop. Anyone can benefit from his gentle approach and easy going style. He is compassionate and accepting and his work has opened my heart to healing like never before. The Hana setting and the ambiance were perfect. William is so accessible and available to the students. His generosity is boundless! Thank you, thank you, thank you for your many gifts William! I shall never forget this experience. The way forward is so much clearer and freer now, as many blockages were dissolved. I feel guidance is more available now and over all a grand connection with Reiki practitioners everywhere. Mary S., San Diego, California

The Reiki master class in Hana, Maui has been a magical experience or me. The setting, my fellow students and William’s teaching all combined with the Reiki energy have had an amazing effect. Three days filled with attunements, meditations and sharing with other Reiki practitioners has raised my energy to a new level. Hiking and swimming under a beautiful waterfall created memories I’ll always treasure. I’m deeply grateful that my Reiki path brought me here to Hana to receive my master attunement from William. It’s been a once in a lifetime experience. Marie Jordan, Waikoloa, Hawaii

The whole class experience was powerful and allowed me to gain confidence in my Reiki practice. Through I did not really aspire to teach, the confidence gained now compels me to do so. Meeting and being present in the energy of all those who attended was both humbling and energizing. The hike to the waterfall was breathtaking . . . . truly a spiritual experience . . . . to be cleansed in such pristine waters was unforgettable and a gift I will treasure. Susan Jones, Lee’s Summit, Missouri

This class was an almost magical experience for me. I feel I have received healing that I did not anticipate. In many ways the mountaintop still beckons, but I feel I have better climbing equipment, more energy and plenty of oxygen to make the journey. I no longer feel so isolated in my Reiki practice. I have met some wonderful soul mates in Reiki whose support and encouragement will always be there for me. The waterfall was a once in a lifetime (I hope not!) experience. I will always remember it along with the angel bird hovering over us as we crossed the stream. William is gentle, organized and a professional in his training. I especially liked his non-guru, down-to-earth presentation and explanations. All in all I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for these three days in Paradise – and an increased sense of purpose and responsibility about my spiritual journey. Namaste and Mahalo, Christine Kile, Mankato, Minnesota

Coming into the ART/Master class as a Master/Teacher, I hoped to gain a deeper understanding of Reiki and to refine my teaching methods. I have received that and more! William has a very clear, methodical teaching style that was easy to understand. The meditations were amazing and the field trip to Alelele Falls was spectacular! I feel a deeper integration of my Reiki skills and a peace inside that is difficult to describe. A truly amazing experience! Thank you! Debbie Surette, Berwick, Novas Scotia

Excellent class structure – allowing time to practice new skills; the entire class felt very healing and I came away with a much deeper feeling of connection to the Reiki energy. The experience has helped me to gain confidence in my abilities and I am now anxious to share my new skills. The field trip to the waterfall was an amazing experience – I am very grateful and feel blessed to have had this experience. The guided meditations were wonderful too – lots of great energy among the group and good healing personally. Sally Dixon, Boynton Beach, Florida
