Glastonbury - Ancient Isle of Avalon
Fee includes cost of class, room and meals, bus ride to and from Stonehenge, entrance to Stonehenge and Special Access to the inner circle of Stonehenge for the ignition. Note that this is US $s and given the exchange rate, this is a real bargain for those living in the UK and Europe.
The main ignition will be inside the stones at Stonehenge. Bus transportation will be provided from Glastonbury to Stonehenge.
We will have the stones all to ourselves for over an hour and be able to meditate with them prior to and after the ignition. Stonehenge was built at this location because of the powerful ley lines that meet here and the uplifting healing energies that converge both from below and from above.
Stonehenge was built over a period of about 1500 years in a number of stages, the oldest of which was about 5000 years ago. It started with circular earthwork. Then over time, additional features were added with each stage becoming more impressive. The large sarsen stones, the main feature of Stonehenge were part of the final phase and were put in place about 2400BC. The design, construction and refinements of Stonehenge cannot be found anywhere else among the prehistoric stone circles of Europe. The size of the stones, some weighing up to 45 tons and the distance they were moved, over 30km, make Stonehenge one of the most astonishing of all achievements of the prehistoric people of Europe. Stonehenge was used by prehistoric people for a period of 2000 years.
Sensitives who have tuned into the people who used Stonehenge find that it was a joyous place, used to celebrate rights of passage such as weddings and child birth as well as death. Harvests were celebrated there and it was a place where people went to pray and to receive initiation into the priesthood. An oblong carving of the mother-goddess is on the inside face of the fourth trilithon of the horseshoe. Therefore, our use to initiate you as an Usui/Holy Fire Reiki master or a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® master, aligns with the purpose for which Stonehenge was created. May the energy, wisdom and love of the ancient ones who created Stonehenge empower your initiation as a healer and your mission to help others.
Class is held in Glastonbury
The main ignition will be at Stonehenge which will take place in the evening just before sunset. However, the main part of the workshop will be in Glastonbury. The Glastonbury area is as interesting or even more so than Stonehenge. It's is filled with sacred sites that contain wonderful spiritual energies. It is said to be one of the earth's most important power spots and is felt to be the heart chakra of the earth. This power spot is located at The Tor, a hill with a tower at the top and a spiral maze going around the side, said to be connected with the Great Goddess and created about 2000-3000 BC. The Chalice Hill and Chalice Well with the Red and White springs are said to impart healing energies. The Abbey where King Arthur and Gwenhwyfar are said to have been buried.
There are many other sacred sites and stories about the area. I recommend you read Glastonbury, Ancient Isle of Avalon so you'll be familar with the area and be able to make plans to visit the sacred sites. Also, it's important to schedule your trip so you arrive a few days early or stay a few days after the workshop so you will have time to explore and enjoy. (The workshop is all day long and you will have very little time to explore on the days of the workshop.) It's possible for you to book extra time before and after the workshop at the Abbey or one of the local B&Bs. See additional accommodations.
Group Hike on Friday, May 20 at 9:45 a.m.
I'll be leading a group hike to the sacred sites around Glastonbury on Friday morning after class, so be sure to schedule time for this.
Needless to say, because of the location, and the time of year, (just before Summer Solstice) this will be a very powerful workshop.

Glastonbury - Ancient Isle of Avalon
The Abbey Retreat House is a beautiful, peaceful setting and is located adjacent to the Glastonbury Abbey. We will have free access to the Glastonbury Abbey grounds both during and after hours through our own gate. To read more about the Abbey Retreat House click here.
Since we will be living together and eating our meals with each other, we'll have a wonderful opportunity to bond and deepen our healing experience.
The fee includes checking in at the Abbey Retreat House on Monday afternoon which will include dinner and checking out on Friday morning which will include breakfast. I highly recommend that you come several days early and stay several days after to enjoy the beautiful spiritual environment around Glastonbury. Arrival/Departure dates: There are lots of power spots and sacred sites within walking distance of Glastonbury and since there will be no time to explore them on class days, I suggest that you arrive a couple of days before class and stay at least an extra day if you can so you have time to spend at the Tor, Chalice Well the Abby and so forth. Also, on the day after class, I'll be leading a group hike to many of these sacred sites. This will be a casual hike with lots of time to stop and smell the roses. Many students have said the hike is as meaningful an experience as going to Stonehenge. So make sure you book extra time at the Abbey or at one of the other B&Bs.

Necessary Qualifications
You must have taken Reiki II to qualify for this class. We require that you send us a copy of your Reiki II certificate when you register. You can fax it to 248-948-9534 or send it as an attached file to center@reiki.org. A copy of the ART/Master manual will be mailed to you a month or so before class. Please be prepared to complete your class payment at the beginning of class if you have not already done so. Tape recorders are permitted. Also, bring any stones, crystals or sacred objects you may have, as we will be placing them in the center of the circle to be blessed by our healing energies during the meditations and you will also be able to bring them to Stonehenge. You will be required to use the Reiki II symbols as drawn by Mrs. Takata which are located in your class manual. Please study the Reiki II symbols and compare them to your own and make sure you have them memorized for use in class. Also, please study and memorize the Usui Master and Holy Fire symbols as there will be a test on drawing these in class.

During the Glastonbury Karuna Reiki® training I felt I was with a community of kindred spirits sharing the mystery, suspense, and wonder of healing wisdom unfolding before us. The Karuna Reiki® class was wonderful, and I can’t really find the words to tell you how amazing it all was, except to say that I am so glad that I went. It is an experience I will treasure forever. Going back to Stonehenge was something I had wanted to do ever since we walked away from those magnificent stones after our Usui Master class last year. It brought back all the memories from our special group and being among the stones once again was very emotional for me. To have fallen in love with stones is really bizarre, but that is exactly what I have done!
Our Karuna group was also a very special group of people who will always have a special place in my heart. I thank William from the bottom of my heart for bringing Karuna Reiki® to the world and into my life—both having been made richer, more positive, and now on a higher spiritual level.
The class unfolded from one wonderful experience to another, the meditations and experiences were deep and profound and the symbols more powerful than I ever imagined them to be. Even though I sit here at my computer in the rain and sunshine that is constantly appearing in Edinburgh (well at least we get rainbows! :) I still feel the love and peace from deep within that was brought to the surface during my time on the course. It influences everything ... as if I’ve removed a strange pair of blinkers ... as if I approach life with a different sense of purpose. I know there is much more enfolding and learning to go... life doesn’t end.

I’m not sure that you remember, but this was my third Reiki Master attunement, and I felt that this one at Stonehenge was my first. I did not feel complete as a Usui Master until I took your class. As far as it being in Glastonbury, well that was an added bonus because I have always wanted to see Stonehenge and thought this was as good a time as any. However, the experience of meeting people from Europe, Africa, Canada and the United States was something I will always remember. Each and every one that I shared the class with will be with me forever in my heart.
As for the attunement at Stonehenge, what can be said? This was such an emotional, personal experience that is it difficult to relate. I feel those who were there at Stonehenge long before us were also there prior to and during our attunement. I also feel that the cleansing process began immediately, at least for me it did, and it continues.
I have been working on myself for many, many years and continue to do so. Each day I am grateful that the Universe has brought Reiki to me and continues to heal me within so I may give to others. I’d like to take this chance to thank each of you individually and as a group for the Karuna experience. As always, I have learnt that as much healing and teaching is experienced outside the classroom as is received during our magical time with William in the class. The Karuna energy has lifted my vibration beyond my imagination, and as I start to realize there is so much more to come, it’s hard to contain my excitement. The deep love that now bonds us all through the Karuna Reiki®, has been, for me, like being reunited with my true family. A Rainbow of Feelings - When I first met our group, I thought, Oh my God, so many mediums, psychics and seers, and I wished I also could see something, for I don’t even see colors. The gift of Reiki to me is being able to see the beauty in each and every one of us and feel our interconnectedness. Falling in love with 23 people at once feels too much for my heart to hold; my eyes tear. What a feeling it is to connect with so many who share the same love for Reiki and a passion for healing. My heart sings with joy.
It has been a privilege to share this weekend with all of you. Thank you for allowing me to get to know you. I am filled with gratitude for all of our tears and laughter.
I carry such fond memories of our time together: the silly moments, the profound ones, and the mischievous, and the divine ones.
Stonehenge had been calling me for a long time. I find myself surrounded by the perfect people and situation, and I stand next to the giant stones in awe of the Divine wisdom, and of my own, for having placed myself here in the hands of Reiki. While I Reiki the stones, I ask myself how can you fall in love with rocks, and my eyes tear once again, and at the same time I can’t help smiling too.
The beautiful rainbow on our way home so magically expresses how I feel. I close my eyes; it’s my way of holding such beauty, and I fall asleep like a child exhausted and overcome with happiness.
Monday during the hike, my delight at finding myself in a meadow filled with buttercups could not be expressed with words. I felt the urge to stand on my head to take in the experience in every way possible. My meditations now have a vision, a feeling, a smell, and a sound, which was imprinted in my memory whilst I lay there amongst the pretty yellow flowers with a smile on my face, my eyes wet with blissful tears.
Words appear so insignificant at times, especially, “Thank You” seems like such a small word for all that you are. Placing my hand on my heart, I connect with you with a touch of Reiki. You feel like a rainbow in my heart. Namaste, William—Namaste to all. Christine
From the first moment I stepped into Glastonbury, I had a sense of “coming home.” The lush green landscape, old stone buildings, farms and English gardens felt somehow familiar, as did the historical and sacred sites we explored. Walking up the steps to the Tor, wading in the healing waters of the Chalice Well, hugging a two thousand-year-old oak tree named Magog and sitting in the middle of the magnificent energy of the stones at Stonehenge are experiences I shall never forget. The class was filled with people from all over the world, each willing to share their gifts, their experiences, and their love. By the end of the class, we were truly family. Since the Karuna attunements, I have experienced powerful shifts in my energy. The Karuna energy has a magnificent feel to it, and the symbols invoke such powerful healing energy! I was quite nervous when I arrived for the class. Held in very simple surroundings that took me straight back to my youth! The ambience was essential to this class because the simplicity of it then did nothing to detract from the teaching of the class and the experience of the class. The butterflies were flying around my stomach really fast!! People arriving, so many seemed to know each other, at first I felt like a stranger, but everyone was really friendly, welcoming and warm. I was surprised at how many different nationalities were in one room. It was such a good feeling. The registration conducted first, everyone a little confused etc. Then the day began!!
SMUDGING….this was done to a greatly uplifting and spirit-raising piece of drumming music, which made you feel really joyous and happy. We then put all our Reiki symbols into the room to raise the energy, and boy did we raise the energy!!!! Sweaters were rapidly being taken off. We then all hugged and greeted EVERYONE in the room in turn. No one was left out. Every morning before class this was done and it was such a great icebreaker. It melded the class together.
When William took us through the meditations each day, the experiences are beyond my capabilities to describe in words, but suffice to say a great depth of healing was done at all levels of my soul, the benefits of which brought about a great personal peace, which enables me as a Reiki healer to work at a far greater depth and understanding.
The benefits of Karuna Reiki® are numerous, but I definitely noticed the power of the new symbols I was attuned to immediately. Very deep level healing is achieved for both the client and practitioner at the time of treatment.
Prior to the attunement at Stonehenge, we arrived with plenty of time to walk around the public path around the stones, being able to tune in to the immense energy that makes you tingle inside. All at once feeling such joy and overwhelming awe at the achievement of such a structure built without modern aids. Then the site was cleared of the general public at closing time and we returned to our coach to wait with absolute mounting excitement, the moment when the ropes were parted and we could go into the main circle and tune in to the stones. We all practically ran in as one!! Caressing the stones, feeling the fact that Time is but a blink of an eye, a second, because it is ALL there, stretching on endlessly through eons and ages of man’s evolvement.
Having the main attunement within the inner circle at Stonehenge was the absolute pinnacle for me. This made the occasion absolutely sacred for me. The circle was being used for an occasion of great joy, and all my ancestors and forefathers were there giving their approval. The stones are warm to the touch and vibrate at a very deep level with a resonance down in the very depths of one’s soul. During the attunement my heart was beating in tune with the heartbeat of the stones. There was an absolute stillness within me and without. I felt such an abundance of love and joy; I was aware of being held by many pairs of hands, and so many eyes were watching, feeling so proud to be a part of this.
For students who are thinking of taking William’s Karuna Reiki® class at Stonehenge, it will be an experience of immense healing and spiritual connection for you. Don’t hesitate, don’t fear the cost, the Universe will enable you to find that. Just do it. The joy and lightness of the soul afterwards is immense, beyond words. The Reiki Master Class at [Glastonbury] was an incredible experience for me, filled with amazing connections, extraordinary synchronicities, and gifts from the universe, as well as new knowledge and new skills. Meditating at Stonehenge while I waited to be attuned was a spiritual awakening of sorts where I “saw” a double procession leading away from the stones, joining in a V formation. The Reiki Master Training I had at Glastonbury was a beautiful experience. I met some wonderful Reiki healers, and I have some memories that I will treasure for a lifetime. William, you are a wonderful spiritual guide and Reiki Master. During meditation before our last attunement I saw the I Ching Dynasty of Emperors and two Dragons, a red and white one, which I got the feeling represented yin and yang, and a white serpent. I also saw I Ching symbols on gold coins on red silk. I felt that they meant love, health, and happiness, and was told that my clairvoyance would develop. I had never seen this before. I also saw three Goddesses in white, with white crowns, that felt like they came from a healing temple. It was a very moving and healing experience. At Stonehenge I felt like I had returned and saw and felt the words love and joy. I saw many people walk through and many different shapes of crosses. At one point, I saw lines extend from England on a map, stretching East, and shapes came and went; the energy was very high and white there. The connection to the energy of the stones is very special, and I was told that I would return three more times in my lifetime. When I left I felt incredible sadness and a pull to remain, but afterwards an incredible joy.
Since my return, I have felt a great urge to develop my knowledge of Feng Shui and my poetry into meditation. I am being very strongly guided not to eat meat and am finding that I am seeing more truth in situations, am seeing things in their true light, and have a deeper sense of compassion and understanding. My psychic awareness is developing, and I am recalling more of my dreams. I would like to thank each and every one of you for making this experience so beautiful. It was lovely to share our thoughts and our meditation experiences, and it will be a true gift to keep in touch and help one another with our healing and continued growth. I would recommend staying in Glastonbury for at least a week and to arrive a little before the course to connect to the energy of the area. I didn’t realize our hotel was on a lay line, and I saw a Goddess appear in the room, which was a little unexpected, and I made my friend jump out of her skin! So something to keep in mind if you are sensitive, but not to be missed.
The other day I went to an old Reiki book I have, and the page opened at the following prayer, which I would like to share this with you. It is said to have been written by Dr. Mikao Usui, which he had taken directly from the sacred Buddhist texts:
We bow down, offer incense and pray to the Medicine King Buddha, Lord of Healing, Lord of Lapis Lazuli Light.
Throughout the ten directions and Three Times, may sickness be a name, a word heard no more. May suffering be only a dark memory, may diseases be banished from the hearts and minds of all sentient beings.
May all people gain health, well-being, peace and prosperity.
Thus, may the great Blessing Storehouse of the Buddha’s pour forth a rain of auspiciousness to those who hear and read these words.
This is a wonderful prayer to use before you charge your Reiki grids. It opens the third eye and higher chakras. It is a wonderful prayer to give as a gift to those you heal and to those you attune.
I could probably write a thousand words about the wonderful healing experience we have all had; the strongest memory is of love and light, sheer joy of sharing the experience with such beautiful healers and people, with the knowledge that our own spiritual energy is higher, will continue to grow and develop with the development of Reiki, in a sea of Universal Love and interconnectedness, for the highest good of all. What a truly unforgettable and beautiful experience meeting all of you! (I feel we are all Reiki brothers and sisters!) It was less about meeting each other for the first time and more of a feeling of having already known each other on a soul level and simply picking up where we left off a few lifetimes ago. I also felt like I was leaving home when I left Glastonbury and England...and was sad…but excited at the same time to return home as a different person, richer for the experiences we all shared. Where do I begin. So many feelings and thoughts run through my mind when I reflect on the experience. My experience in Glastonbury, Stonehenge, and your Karuna Reiki class will be with me for the rest of my life. It was one of those experiences that will stay inside of me and I will remember forever. It was profound, amazing, and life changing. Every aspect of it was so magical and it all added up to an experience full of meaning and deep change for me. The town of Glastonbury is definitely the heart chakra of the world. There are so many amazing places to see, feel, and experience there. But to be there while taking a Karuna Reiki class from you made it even more amazing. The Karuna Reiki class and energy was more than I could hope for or expect. The energy of Karuna feels so all encompassing and deeply resonates love and compassion. And the class was full of truly wonderful people from all over the world. We were definitely all brought together to create a wonderful space full of love for each other. And under your teachings, it made the magic of Glastonbury even more poignant. And by giving us the rare opportunity of going inside of Stonehenge to not only feel the energy there and see the stones up close, but to get our Master attunement, was absolutely incredible. I felt like all the energy of the stones and earth in Stonehenge were a part of the attunement and helping with the attunement. It felt like the purpose of Stonehenge and it's reason for being was to have and assist with things like attunements, within it's energy. It made for a beautiful experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. And as always, your teaching is wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you for memories that I will treasure forever.
