It is widely believed that Mrs. Takata taught Reiki only as an oral tradition and that she didn’t provide students with handouts or allow them to take notes or tape record classes. It has recently come to light that she did allow students in at least one class to take notes and provided students with handouts. Copies of these handouts have been made available to William and are reproduced in this article.
