by Diane Shewmaker
Many in the world today live with great abundance. This can be a blessing, but it can also lead to unhealthy consumption and even addiction. In this article, Diane explains addictive patterns and how to use Reiki to clear them. She gives an example of her own addiction to cigarettes and how she used a special Reiki technique to end the habit. The technique is clearly explained including how to use it on your clients. Other uses are given including how to use the technique to empower affirmations and create healthy habits. She also explains why it works based on recent brain research. While yoga mudras are powerful, adding Reiki energy makes them even more beneficial. Many who have done this have entered blissful states and experienced deeper levels of healing. This article gives specific instructions on how to do a number of important Yoga mudras. The photos make it easy to follow.

The Matrix: Reloaded
Movie Mystic Review
by Stephen Simon
This is a review of the just released movie. It gives insight into its deeper meaning and how it applies to our spiritual lives. Stephen says: "This is a film that confounds, astounds, perplexes, and challenges us as viewers to see beyond the veneers of the matrix into the belly of the beast, into the core of our humanity. . . . .ask[ing] two eternal questions. Who are we? Why are we here? MATRIX: RELOADED revolves-no-SWIRLS! -around those eternal mysteries and provides provocative glimpses into potential answers. . ." Also reviewed is Bowling For Columbine, the Oscar wining documentary by Michael Moore. Chakras ratings are given for both movies.
These stories, sent in by our readers give real life validation to the practice of Reiki. Many include people who had serious illnesses and before and after medical tests that confirmed both the existence of the condition and the healing. They demonstrate the miracle working power of Reiki and inspire us to develop our skill and use our Reiki.
This is an exciting and valuable issue that will supply you with entertainment as well as quality information and instruction. If you have any suggestions on how the magazine could be improved, I'd be very happy to hear them.
The world is a wonderful place, filled with continual changes which bring with them a never ending supply of opportunities. May you grow in the ability to allow the wisdom of Reiki to guide how you create your life.
Love and peace to you and the world.
