Namaste*! My name is Carolyn Musial and I am a full-time Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner. I live in Buffalo, New York and thoroughly enjoy the beauty of each of the four seasons and the open-hearted, warm people who live in this area.
I had my first experience with Reiki in April of 1998. I had been reading spiritual books and searching for answers. I just knew there was more to life, though I had no idea what I was searching for. Then a friend suggested we take a Reiki class. I immediately responded, “O.K.!” Then I said, “What’s Reiki?” I had no idea what Reiki was, but when I heard the word something resonated deep inside me, and I knew I had to take that class.
And so my journey began, yet finding Reiki was like coming “home”. I started doing Reiki for myself, and also began treating family, friends and clients. Within one year I knew I wanted to teach. I simply had to share this amazing gift with others. In 2000 I found Laurelle Shanti Gaia and the International Center for Reiki Training in the Reiki News. I became a Reiki Master in 2000 and immediately began teaching. It was not until I taught my very first Reiki class that I understood what it meant to find your “passion”. I became a Karuna Reiki® Master in 2001, and a Gendai Reiki Master in October of 2006 in a class taught my Hiroshi Doi.
In April of 2003 I left my 28 year career in corporate America to become a full-time Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner. It was time to follow my dream.
My practice at ReikiCare includes Usui/Holy Fire and Karuna Reiki®, Reiki drumming, healing attunements, Reiki for animals and animal communication.
It is very difficult to explain how Reiki has transformed my life. It has brought me to a place of inner peace and harmony. I have practiced Reiki on myself every day since my first Reiki class, and I have been healed in so many ways. In April of 2014 I was ignited to Holy Fire Reiki. I did not think it was possible for me to love Reiki more, but I do! Holy Fire Reiki has brought me amazing joy, gratitude, guidance and empowerment, and it continues to grow and expand my consciousness daily.
My passion is teaching Reiki and sharing this amazing gift with others, empowering my students to transform their own lives. There are no words to describe the feeling of seeing the look on the face of someone who has just been attuned to Reiki and is experiencing its power. It is truly a blessing! Reiki continues to teach and guide me as I walk my path. I give thanks each day for the gift of Reiki in my life and look forward to connecting with you on your journey. As we heal ourselves, we heal the planet.
*Namaste is a Nepali word that translates, “The God in me salutes or acknowledges the God in you.” I believe that is the highest form of respect that we can pay to another being.
