Transcript

We've included a written transcript of the recording below so you can follow along asYukio narrates the five principles.

"Hello, this is Yukio Miura.

I would like to help you learn to pronounce the five Reiki principles in Japanese.

First I will recite the whole text which came from the original document written by Dr. Usui:

Shoufuku no hihoo
Manbyo no ley-yaku
Kyo dake wa
Okolu-na
Shinpai suna
Kansha shite
Goo hage me
Hito ni shinsetsu ni
Asa yuu gassho shite kokoro ni neji kuchi ni tonaeyo
Shin shin kaizen, Usui Reiki Ryoho
Chosso Usui Mikao

Now I will focus on the five principles which you can learn by repeating after me:

The first part which says "Just for Today" is pronounced:
Kyo dake wa. Repeat after me . . . Kyo dake wa.
The next part says "Don't get angry" and is pronounced:
Okolu-na. Repeat after me . . . Okoru-na.
The next part says "Don't worry" and is pronounced:
Shinpai suna. Repeat after me . . . Sinpai suna.
The next part is "Be Grateful" and is pronounced:
Kansha shite. Repeat after me . . . Kansha shite.
The next part is "Work hard" and is pronounced:
Goo hage me. Repeat after me . . . Goo hage me.
The next part is "Be kind to others" and is pronounced:
Hito ni shinsetsu ni. Repeat after me . . . Hito ni shinsetsu ni.

Now lets say all five at once:

Kyo dake wa
Okolu-na
Shinpai suna
Kansha shite
Goo hage me
Hito ni shinsetsu ni

Lets do it again:

Kyo dake wa
Okolu-na
Shinpai suna
Kansha shite
Goo hage me
Hito ni shinsetsu ni"

THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LISTEN TO THIS VOICE RECORDING OF DR. USUI'S FIVE PRINCIPLES IN JAPANESE!
